IT Scholar Profile 2017

Hi! I'm Jack, the Selwyn IT Scholar for 2017.

I am a second-year Computer Science and Marketing student and glorified printer technician. Whilst I may not be a member of the SCSA committee, my invaluable expertise in how to restart a computer has ensured I get just as much off my fees.

Many of my friends have described me as smart, funny, good looking, and most importantly... humble. Although this will likely be one of the few blog posts I submit, as I will leave that to our resident Blogging Scholar Nathan Lea (who is a great guy, by the way, you should call him).

I like to keep a busy schedule, but when I'm not studying hard, being on every sports and cultural team, and fixing printers, I like to fill my time by ensuring that Selwyn College has the IT specs worthy of a twenty-first-century Century hall.

Selwyn College has a long standing tradition of being the best hall in Otago. This new website is a testament to that, as it brings the College's proud history into a twenty-first-century format, connecting past, present, and prospective students. I look forward to working with Selwyn College to keep that history preserved.
