Selwyn v Knox - points divided
The Selwyn V Knox Choir competition went off without a hitch. Beautiful voices echoed throughout the St Pauls Cathedral.
Selwyn’s small choir sang choral renditions of If you love me by Thomas Tellis, Moi Moi Pepe a Samoan lullaby, and finally Dream on by Aero Smith.
With wonderful Latafale Auvaa conducting the acapella pieces Selwyn’s beautiful voices filled the cathedral, overlapping and harmonising in every way.
This was then followed by the big choirs. Knox went on to fill the stage with bodies taking the words ‘big’ quite literally, with Selwyn following in behind.
The results reflected the competition as the judge ruled Selwyn small choir the winners, while Knox took out the big choir.
