Revd Michael Wallace

General Secretary of the World Student Christian Federation in Geneva. Ba, BTheol, Master of Philosophy.

Fr. Michael has been the vicar of All Saints Church and Selwyn College chaplain and since mid-2010. From 2004-2010, he was General Secretary of the World Student Christian Federation in Geneva, Switzerland. He has degrees in Arts and Theology from Otago and a Master of Philosophy (in ecumenics) from Trinity College Dublin.

Fr. Michael has been a member of the New Zealand Youth Choir and Voices New Zealand. He has also been a Choral Scholar at Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin and a member of the Capping Sextet. Fr. Michael is married to Julanne Clarke-Morris and they have three children.

The chaplain is there to support Selwyn students and staff. He leads the special Selwyn services that are an important part of the College’s calendar.  If you need someone to speak with, to reflect with, no matter what your faith, the chaplain is there for you.
